Ingersoll Rand Sells Bobcat To Doosan

At the end of July, Ingersoll Rand Company agreed to sell its Bobcat, utility equipment and attachments businesses to Doosan Infracore for approximately $4.9 billion. The sale is expected to be complete early in the fourth quarter of this year.
The just-sold businesses manufacture compact equipment, telescopic tool handlers, portable air compressors and generators, and general-purpose construction equipment. The sale includes manufacturing facilities in North Dakota, Georgia, Minnesota, Virginia, China, the Czech Republic, France, Ireland, and Wales. The companies employ approximately 5,700 people worldwide.
