4. Altec AT37-GR aerial device

The Altec AT37-GR is an aerial device mounted on a versatile off-road carrier with a working height of 41 feet and platform capacity to 400 pounds. It is designed to tackle severe off-road conditions. The loaded carrier is rated for driving on 10-degree slopes side-to-side and climbing 15-degree slopes in forward and reverse directions. The 21-ply all-terrain tires minimize ground pressure for driving across lawns, but can easily deflect objects that would puncture regular turf tires. Equipped with two sets of radial outriggers, the unit sets up quickly and can be operated on slopes of up to 5 degrees.

5. Niftylift Nifty SD64

One of Nifty’s newest, the SD64 offers a platform height of 63 feet and outreach of more than 43 feet. Its 3-foot-8-inch platform provides plenty of room for tools and platform rotation with a 150-degree jib maximizes accuracy when positioning. Low-weight chassis design and special turf tires allow the SD64 to work on grass without causing damage, and onsite travel times are greatly reduced due to its high travel speed. The SD64’s features make it ideal for applications such as estate maintenance or tree care work with options such as 4-wheel-steer and 4WD.
