Terex Telelect’s redesigned TL Backyard unit meets the specialized needs of tree trimming applications to access confined areas. The specialized chassis has telescoping axles that minimize vehicle width to less than 36-inches. Minimized vehicle width, combined with 4-wheel steering and optional crab steer allow increased maneuverability. A hydrostatic variable displacement drive is powered by a 50-horsepower diesel engine. A working height up to 42-feet is provided with the TL series Hi-Ranger aerial device. The TL Series Backyard aerial is offered and supported through the Terex Utilities Network with more than 40 service centers across North America. Terex Telelect is a division of Terex Utilities dedicated to providing solutions to the electric utilities, tree care companies, telecommunications companies, and the electric construction industry as well as government organizations such as the Department of Transportation.
