Sprinter offers a versatile and comfortable alternative to conventional work trucks. Cab features spacious interior, ergonomically designed seats, and panoramic vision for driver and passengers. Flat frame rails accept a range of truck bodies. Select from 2 G.V.W.R.’s (8,550 or 9,990 lbs.), with a wheelbase measuring 140 or 158 ins. long. Each version boasts fuel economy of more than 25 m.p.g. Also equipped with automatic, 5-speed transmission; 4-wheel, anti-locking disk brakes: and acceleration skid control. Power steering eases handling, while tight turning radius enhances maneuverability in congested areas. Runs on 5-cylinder, 154-hp. turbo-diesel engine. Select from numerous body options, such as a rear window for cab or wiring harnesses for interior lighting. Full-size driver and passenger airbags are also available.
