Pitman New Facility Press Release

Pitman Utility Products has announced a new name and a new production, parts, and installation facility. In early 2004, we relocated to a new facility in Grandview, MO to keep up with market demands. Kris Johnson, President of Pitman Utility Products, states the new facilities will allow us to separate the manufacturing – installation business from the parts – service business. We will now have two buildings, on the same property dedicated to the different aspects of our business.
All of our Pitman digger derrick manufacturing and installations will take place in a dedicated facility that is designed for our type of production. The new operation now gives us the room we need to expand production to meet our customers requirements and give us more room to perform our customer and distributor installations.
The second facility will house our corporate offices and our parts distribution center. Along with moving, we just installed a new computer system that will allow us to maximize the control our inventory and production. Since we have machines built in the 50s that are still in-service today, we needed a system that could handle our production requirements and our aftermarket parts needs.
The name change (Pitman Utility Products) states, Dana G. Scudder, National Sales Manager, reflects our new corporate direction dedicated to expanding our product lines into every utility, construction, rental, and telecommunication market we serve. We invite our customers to come and see our new facilities and to discuss their equipment needs and take a closer look at our current and future product offerings.
